We met sometime back in 2014 through mutual friends (Sharon & Armando) while we were both still attending FIU. At the time, our lives were heading in different directions and the timing just wasn't right. Fast forward to 2017 - Frankie was living in California for work and Jessie was in Miami getting ready to start grad school. Frankie came down to visit one weekend & had planned to go out with some old college friends from his engineering program (the same friend group through which we had met). Sharon (one of Jessie's best friends) had convinced her to tag along that night. She almost didn't go out that night as it was a weekday, but decided to anyways after much convincing. It was that night out in Brickell that we reconnected & ignited the spark.

Even though we lived on opposite ends of the country (literally) we both felt a strong connection and just knew that this relationship would be worth it. We dated long distance for almost 3 years before Frankie moved back down to Miami in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Since then we have shared our first apartment together, bought our first house & formed our own little family with our two pups.

Towards the end of 2023, Frankie planned a surprise proposal with the help of Jess's best friends. One night Jess went out with her friends for a 'girls night' at the Nightgarden at Fairchild, completely unaware of what was planned. While out with her girlfriends, she was lead towards this hidden pathway (still completely unaware), to where he was standing & waiting for her. That night on December 20th, 2023 Frankie proposed to Jess at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

Throughout our relationship we've experienced several adventures together, created beautiful memories & established wonderful relationships with each others friends and families. We're really excited for this next big step in our lives together <3
